EXCLUSIVE: Celluloid Dreams shopping music-based drama at EFM.

Celluloid Dreams has boarded sales on Dan Algrant’s (Greetings from Tim Buckley) music-based drama Little Rootie Tootie, set to star Christopher Walken and Lenny Kravitz.

The film charts a dysfunctional family of musicians trying to keep their careers and family from falling apart. Walken will play a veteran jazz pianist.

Due to shoot in New York City in late spring, producers are River Bend Pictures’ Stan Erdreich, A to Z’s Fred Zollo and Algrant, and Dalifey Ltd.’s Paul Condoleon.

Grammy winner Terence Blanchard will be scoring and creating original music. Additional casting is underway.
Also new to Celluloid’s slate is Berlinale Panormana entry Things People Do.
