The agency announced on Tuesday [30] that Doug MacLaren and Harley Copen have been named co-heads of the partnership’s motion picture literary department. 

MacLaren [pictured at left] and Copen will oversee directors, writers, and producers including Woody Allen, Sofia Coppola, Tom Hooper, David Mamet and Stephen Frears.

“Doug and Harley are respected agents in the film business and are ideal choices to continue to build and strengthen our motion picture literary business,” ICM Partners said in a statement.

After joining ICM in 1995, MacLaren served as co-head of the motion picture literary department from 2006 to 2009. Copen was announced as a partner at ICM last year.
