Indie Rights has struck a deal at the virtual EFM to represent worldwide rights excluding Vatican City to Italian director Lia Giovanazzi Beltrami’s upcoming documentary The Climate Route.
The film follows eight Italian boys who cross Eurasia in three months to raise awareness about the effects of climate change.
Beltrami’s Aurora Vision is producing the documentary with Beltrami and Andrea Morghen serving as producers.
Aurora Vision is partnering on the project with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and All4Climate, among others.
Principal photography on The Climate Route is scheduled to begin in May for 14 weeks. Aurora Vision retains Vatican City rights.
