EXCLUSIVE: Entertainment investment firm Narrative Capital Partners has launched Narrative Global Sales at EFM and appointed sales executive Hannah Atlas to lead the team.
The hire of London-based Atlas, who most recently served at Palisades Park Pictures, comes on the heels of Narrative’s acquisition of the Cinema Management Group library of more than 70 films and series that was built over two decades by industry veteran Edward Noeltner, who left the business last year.
The catalogue combines with Narrative’s portfolio of US distribution specialists Chroma, who release horror, sci-fi, action and comedy; Persimmon, who release romances, holiday titles, and female-led thrillers; classic restorations outfit Treasury; and LGBTQ+ label Wolfe Video, which is celebrating its 40th year.
The inaugural Narrative Global Sales roster includes a raft from Chroma: upcoming psychological horror Play House whose executive producer Adam Hendricks served in the same capacity on the M3GHAN films; Water Park Shark from the director of Sharknado Anthony C. Ferrante; and elevated sci-fi De Novo from producers Lily Wachowski (The Matrix) and James Ward Byrkit (Rango).
Atlas will also introduce byers to the ensemble alien invasion comedy Operation Taco Gary’s starring Simon Rex from Red Rocket that Chroma releases on February 27, and 2025 SXSW and Sitges selection The Infinite Husk, which Chroma currently has in theatrical release.
“I’m excited to join the Narrative team for the launch of a new global sales agency and to reintroduce the CMG library to the marketplace,” Atlas said. The executive has also held posts at Screen Media Ventures and Sonar Entertainment.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Narrative Global Sales to the Narrative family,” Narrative Capital Partners founder and CEO Daniel Levin said. “Kudos to all those across Narrative – Hannah Atlas, in particular - who’ve put together the most exciting slate at EFM this year.”
