Eon Film’s Nicky Bentham, BBC Film’s Anwen Griffiths and Denitsa Yordanova from the BFI have joined the Screen Summit 2026: ‘Financing The Future of UK Film’.
The third annual Screen Summit is taking place at the BFI Southbank on September 29.

Bentham is a producer and co-founder of Eon Film. She most recently produced Nadia Fall’s feature debut Brides, which was nominated for four Bifas. Her other credits include The Duke, Locked In and Moon, and she was Oscar nominated for Misan Harriman’s 2024 short The After. Bentham is co-chair of Pact’s Film Producers’ Group and also sits on ScreenSkills’ Film Skills Council and the NFTS’s advisory board for the producing MFA programme.
Griffiths is head of legal and business affairs for BBC Film and was previously a senior partner at Lee & Thompson, specialising in media finance and with more than 25 years of experience advising across legal and commercial aspects of independent film. She is also a former vice chair of Ffilm Cymru Wales and a BFI Governor. BBC Film’s upcoming productions includes Shane Meadows’ Chork, Clio Barnard’s I See Buildings Fall Like Lightning and Justine Triet’s Fonda.
The duo join Calculus Capital’s John Glencross on the ‘Financing Frontline’ panel, which looks at how can indie projects can be better structured so that producers can make a living and build their slates.
Yordanova is director of the UK Global Screen Fund and international funds at the BFI, overseeing the £18m-a-year initiative which provides funding for international distribution, co-production and business development. She has previously had roles at All3Media, Endemol Shine and Guardian Media Group.
She is moderating a panel titled ‘The Money Trail’, where three producers – Ciara Barry (Barry Crerar), Emily Morgan (Quiddity) and Gabrielle Tana (Magnolia Mae Films) – will reveal how they raised the funding for recent indie features.
