Cathy Konrad and James Mangold’s production company Tree Line Films will partner with Tom Pollock and Ivan Reitman’s Montecito Picture Company to adapt Anne Fortier’s novel Juliet.

Mangold is attached to direct the project, which is set up at Paramount.

Chad and Dara Creasey will adapt the story of a young woman who learns she is descended from the fueding families in the Romeo And Juliet story and travels to Sienna in Italy with a mysterious key inherited form her aunt.

Konrad, Pollock, Reitman and Ali Bell are producing.
