Romeo Beckham has landed his acting debut in French photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti’s first feature as director, Forty Love.
Raised and relentlessly trained by his father, a young tennis star is striving to win his first major tournament in Paris. But the arrival of a charismatic new rival, played by the son of David and Victoria Beckham, challenges everything.
Producers are Hugo Sélignac and Paco de Bary at France’s Chi-Fou-Mi Productions, and co-produced by Studiocanal and Manna Studios. Studiocanal holds all worldwide sales and will release in France later this year, on November 25.
The film is now in post, having shot in Monaco, Cannes and Paris.
Further cast includes Paul Kircher, Guillaume Canet, Benjamin Voisin and Catherine Deneuve.
Carlotti co-writes with Gaëlle Macé.
