Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos will deliver the executive keynote address launching the 2013 Film Independent Forum on October 26.

The following day writer-director Ava DuVernay will address the event.

A screening of Dallas Buyers Club starring Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner and Jared Leto will kick off the 9th annual Film Independent Forum on October 25 followed by a Q&A session and reception.

The annual forum for independent filmmakers will take place over the weekend of October 25-27 at the Directors Guild Of America in Los Angeles.
