
Sinead Dean, vice president, entertainment and marketing at WME, Julie La’Bassiere, chief strategy officer at DDA Entertainment, and Harriet Finney, deputy CEO and executive director of corporate affairs and partnerships at the British Film Institute, have joined the lineup for Screen International’s ‘Financing the Future of UK Film’ summit, taking place on September 29 at the BFI Southbank in London.

London-based Dean works with brands and creators to create innovative entertainment strategies. She has previously held roles at All3Media’s Lime Pictures and Channel 4, focusing on intellectual property development and forging impactful brand partnerships.
La’Bassiere is an entertainment marketing and communications strategist, working across film, television, music, film festivals and global brands. She has advised and led international campaigns for major studios, cultural organisations and creative talent.
Dean and La’Bassiere will join the previously announced Franki Goodwin, chief creative officer at Saatchi & Saatchi and co-founder of Western Edge Pictures, for a panel that discusses how filmmakers can work with brands to find effective ways to reach consumers and audiences.
Finney will join Ollie Madden, head of Netflix UK, in the interactive session, Future Thinking: the bold ideas to transform the UK film sector. Finney’s role at the BFI includes leading the BFI’s engagement with the UK government and the local independent film sector through the Filmmaking Funds and the Global Screen Fund.
