Further deals include France (The Jokers), Germany (Plaion), Spain (Madfer), ex-Yugoslavia (Investacommerce), Poland (Galapagos), Bulgaria (Beta), the Middle East (Front Row), Israel (United King) and Turkey (Aqua/Pinema Group).

Kodi Smit-McPhee and Djimon Hounsou star. A Somali-American airport shuttle driver living in Minneapolis and struggling to survive is faced with a risky but lucrative offer from a passenger.

US producers are Jib Polhemus for Source Management + Production and Norman Golightly for Dark Castle Entertainment. Dark Castle Entertainment has also financed the film. The script is written by Bennett Fisher, and based on the play Damascus.

Zealot receives its market premiere at the European Film Market (EFM).

Zealot is a gripping thriller that turns a simple ride into a terrifying moral dilemma,” said Vertical’s senior vice president of acquisitions, Tony Piantedosi. “Vadim Perelman delivered a film that builds relentless tension while grounding its suspense in timely, human stakes.”
