As the northwest UK 's two audiovisual organisations are planning to merge, the chief executive and managing director of the combined organsation have been named.
Alice Morrison has been appointed chief executive with Lynne McCadden taking the MD post of the as-yet-unnamed organisation.
The merger talks are ongoing between North West Vision and Media Training North West.
McCadden is currently head of Media Training North West, with Morrison heading North West Vision.
'We were in the very fortunate position of having an extremely strong shortlist of candidates for these exciting new roles, but the decision to appoint Alice as chief executive and Lynne as managing director was the best combination we could possibly have hoped for,' said Steve Morrison, chairman of the proposed new company.
