Alexander Payne’s latest film Nebraska featuring an awards-buzz performance by Bruce Dern will screen on Oct 16 during the 49th Chicago International Film Festival.

Dern will collect a Career Achievement Award on the evening of the film’s gala presentation.

The festival is set to run from Oct 10-24. Nebraska premiered in Cannes and will open in the US on Nov 22 through Focus Features
