In yet another announcement of an affiliation, Reliance Big Entertainment's (RBE) Big Pictures has joined hands with Indian producer Vashu Bhagnani's Puja Films for a five-picture slate to be completed over the next two years.

Shooting has already begun on the first two projects. David Dhawan is directing Do Knot Disturb while Vivek Sharma is shooting Kal Kissney Dekha. Both projects are scheduled for an early 2009 release.

RBE will finance these films and retain worldwide marketing and distribution rights. Rajesh Sawhney, president, Reliance BIG Entertainment said: 'We are delighted at the commencement of two films under this deal and have already started work on the strategic marketing and distribution plan for these films.'

Comedy Do Knot Disturb stars Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta and is currently being shot in Delhi. Vashu Bhagnani's son Jackky makes his debut as an actor in romcom Kal Kissney Dekha which is shooting in South Africa.

Puja Films is credited with Hindi films such as Coolie No.1 (1995), Hero No.1 (1997), Biwi No.1 (1999), Om Jai Jagadish (2002), Out Of Control (2003) and Shaadi No.1 (2005). However, in recent years Puja has presented a series of box office flops, unlike its hitsof the late 1990s.
