launch an educational and marketing partnership with Clark Atlanta
University during this autumn.
The partnership has developed a marketing course centred on the
upcoming theatrical release of John Sayles' Honeydripper starring
The course will be taught through the School of Business
Administration at Clark Atlanta and provides business students with
hands-on experience in the art of theatrical motion picture marketing.
Lectures will be distributed via the internet and arranged by Clark
Atlanta's marketing professor Charles W Richardson Jr. Speakers will
include Packer, who produced Stomp The Yard, Deutchman, and other
Honeydripper, a rural drama set in Alabama in the 1950s, will get its
world premiere at Toronto on Sept 10.
