The ninth Rushes Soho Short Film Festival ended its week-long event last night in London, with the Ascent Media Short Film Award going to Chris Shepherd's Silence Is Golden.

The runners up in that category were James Larkin's Interior Bedsit Day and Simon Ellis' Soft.

The Era Animation Award went to Chris Sadler's Shaun The Sheep - Off The Baa with runners up Over The Hill by Peter Baynton and Exit 2 by Satoshi Tamioka.

The Rushes Newcomer Award went to Richard Murphy's Fish Can't Fly, with runners up Would Like To Meet by Trevor De Silva and Young Offender by Isabel Anderton.

The Curzon Cinemas Documentary Award went to Beth Stratford's Cheat Neutral, with runners up Jeremy Williams for Our Father Who Art In Heaven and Richard Fenwick for What We've Found Out About Stem Cells.
