Cologne-based Media Luna Entertainment has closed a Japanese deal on
Portuguese drama Call Girl, a drama about a high class prostitute who is hired to seduce the local mayor.

Only Hearts Co. Ltd has taken all Japanese rights to the film, which is directed by Antonio-Pedro Vasconcelos and stars Soraia Chaves.

Media Luna has also closed an Australia/New Zealand deal on Jens Hoffman's 9to5Days In Porn, its documentary about the everyday side of adult entertainment with Beyond Home Entertainment. The deal comes with the guarantee of theatrical release in at least two cities.

Meanwhile, Jon Garano's The Dragon House has sold to Kim Media for Korea.

'I must say I didn't expect that the AFM would be a good market but it has been quite good for us - we have been closing deals and the buyers are coming. We believe there is a very positive attitude,' Media Luna's managing-director Ida Martins commented of what appears to have been a fairly brisk week here in Santa Monica.
