Sundance Channel and documentary DVD label Docurama willlaunch the Sundance Channel Home Entertainment Documentary Collection on Apr 26with The First Amendment Project, thefirst of six titles a year culled from the channel's library.

The First AmendmentProject is a series of films in thefirst-ever programming partnership between Sundance Channel and Court TVexploring contemporary issues surrounding the Constitutional amendment.

The DVD will include three titles from the series: Fox Vs Franken by Chris Hegedus and Nick Doob;Mario Van Peeble's Poetic License; and John Walter's Some Assembly Required.

"Extending the Sundance Channel brand into the home entertainmentmarket with a documentary line enables us to deepen our commitment to thegenre," Mike Haney, vice president of Sundance Channel Home Entertainment, saidin a statement.

"This partnership is consistent with our overall mission of deliveringoutstanding documentaries to the home entertainment market," added Docuramaco-founding principal Susan Margolin.
