China’s Tianjin Film Studio has sold hit animation Legend Of A Rabbit to Portugal’s Zon Lusomundo Audiovisuals.

Tianjin has also pre-sold the film’s sequel, Rabbit 2: Mysterious City Of Stones, to Turkey (Ozenfilm), Indonesia (Mutu Entertainment) and Iran and the Middle East (Media International Pictures).

Directed by Sun Li Jun, the sequel is a martial arts adventure involving a mad travelling magician who captures the souls of animals to build a stone city. It is scheduled for delivery in 2013.
