Vural Ulusu to head up technical services at High Point

Vural Ulusu has been promoted to head of global technical services at Carey Fitzgerald’s distribution and sales company High Point Media Group.

Ulusu, who has held the post of servicing and trafficking executive at High Point for five years, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of worldwide servicing for a range of titles including the Oscar shortlisted film Winter In Wartime. The promotion takes immediate effect.

Since joining High Point in 2004, Vural has handled the materials of a steadily expanding library of films, TV series and documentaries, currently amounting to around 3000 hours, and has been instrumental in setting up the company’s digital library.

Ulusu said of the promotion: ” Delivery requirements for film and television delivery are constantly adapting to keep up with the latest developments, which can be a challenge given the number of territories and differing requirements; but working at High Point has allowed me to keep my finger on the pulse of all the changes that are happening in the industry and I’m delighted at this new opportunity as head of the technical department.”
