Wim Wenders has set up a new, Hamburg-based production outfit Reverse Angle Production which will produce his next feature project entitled Don't Come Knockin'.
Originally developed at Road Movies Filmproduktion as In America, the project still has previous Wenders collaborator Sam Shepard onboard as screenwriter for the contemporary love story set in North America. Two years ago, Wenders declared that this project would be a return to the spirit of such Wenders classics as Alice In The Cities (Alice In Den Staedten) or Paris Texas
Wenders told screendaily.com at this week's Hof Film Festival that Road Movies will have a stake in his new company which has already received a total of Euros 800,000 in production support from the German Federal Film Board's (FFA) project committee and the German-French Funding Committee. Paris-based Victoire Productions will co-produce.
