Andi Isaacs has joined Summit Entertainment as senior vice president of physical production and will oversee all aspects of in-house productions for the fledgling studio. She reports to chief operating officer Bob Hayward.
Isaacs recently served as a production executive for Walt Disney Pictures from 2004-06 and before that she was a freelance and worked on There's Something About Mary, National Treasure,and The Pacifier.
Summit currently has two movies in production - Get Some and Step Up 2 The Streets, and is in pre-production on Push in Hong Kong.
'Andi is a great fit for us here at Summit,' Hayward said. 'She has worked for us as an independent contractor on our movies over the last two years and has really delivered.
'She has extensive knowledge of film production and a great ability to head off problems before they occur. Also, importantly, she is well liked by film-makers.'
