British Telecom has announced new content deals for its BT Vision Download Store, a UK-based download-to-own service.

Warner Bros will let the BT service offer downloads of recent films including Happy Feet, The Prestige, A Scanner Darkly, and franchises including the Batman films, the Harry Potter series and the Matrix trilogy. Later in the year, Warner Bros TV offerings will be added to the service.

BT and Warner already had a content agreement for its video-on-demand BT Vision service.

Dan Marks, CEO of BT Vision, said: 'We continue to build the range and quality of content available from BT Vision by building the Download Store. With the addition of Warner Bros, we are now able to make some of the most attractive of all studio programming available to all UK broadband customers.'

Josh Berger, president and MD of Warner Bros Entertainment UK added: 'We're pleased to be working with BT for the BT Vision Download Store. BT Vision is another platform that allows customers to view our films and TV whenever they want and however they want, and we look forward to working with BT as this relationship continues to evolve.'

Other BT download partners announced today are Avalon, Cookie Jar, Contender, FremantleMedia, GONG, Real Estate TV, Revelation Films, Shorts, TVF, TwoFour Broadcast and Vidzone.
