EXCLUSIVE: Producer and NYU teacher Robert Nickson has been talking to sales agents on the Croisette about a slate of features from the NYU Graduate Film Program.

Rights are available on four in-production titles: Paul Dalio’s Mania Days; Anja Marquardt’s She’s Lost Control; Emily Reese’s Babylu; and Chloe Zoe’s Lee.

Alumni features include Lucy Molloyʼs 2012 Tribeca Film Festival entry Una Noche [pictured] and Eleanor Burke’s micro-budget feature Stranger Things. A further four projects are seeking financing.

“Though these films serve as the directors’ thesis work for their graduate degree, at NYU unlike some other universities, the films are fully owned by the students who write and direct, though in most cases have formed a company to handle financing and rights,” said Nickson.
