Top brass at the 16th Annual Slamdance Film Festival announced their winners on Thursday night.
Charles-Olivier Michaud’s (pictured) Snow And Ashes won the Slamdance Grand Jury Sparky Award for best narrative film.
The Grand Jury Sparky Award for best documentary went to Mark Claywell’s American Jihadist.
The animated short prize was presented to Ben Richardson and Daniel Bird for Seed, and Mirko Rucnov won best narrative short for Prvi Dan Mira (First Day Of Peace).
In the audience awards, Alexandre Franchi’s The Wild Hunt took the Audience Sparky Award for best narrative film and Adam Barker’s Mind Of The Demon: The Larry Linkogle Story won the documentary prize.

Went to Laura Harris’ Sugar Stick, and the Spirit Of Slamdance Sparky Short Film Award went to Mosquitoby Jeremy Engle.
In the sponsored awards, the Kodak Vision Award for Best Cinematography was presented to General Orders No. 9 by Robert Persons, while the Dos Equis Most Interesting Film Award (and best Mumblecore film to not play SXSW) went to Wallace Cotton’s Nothing But Everything.
