EXCLUSIVE: The sales division has signed on to represent the US Documentary Competition titles After Tiller and American Promise.

Martha Shane and Lana Wilson directed After Tiller, which follows the only three doctors in the US known to perform third-trimester abortions following the assassination of George Tiller in 2009.

Dana O’Keefe of Cinetic Media represents US rights to the film, set to premiere on Jan 18.

Joe Brewster and Michele Stephenson’s American Promise follows two African-American families struggling to educate their sons. The Film Sales Company represents US rights and POV holds broadcast rights.

American Promise is scheduled to premiere on Jan 21.
