The Film Sales Company president has acquired worldwide rights excluding the UK and Spain to Goya winner Garbo: The Spy.

Edmon Roch directed and produced the documentary, which remains in theatrical release in Spain after 22 weeks and recounts the history of Juan Pujol Garcia, a Spanish double agent who helped the Allies defeat the Nazis.

Garbo: The Spy won this year’s Goya for best documentary and the Gaudi Awards for documentary and screenplay.

The Film Sales Company chief Andrew Herwitz will commence sales at the Seattle Film Festival this month.
