Fortissimo Films has taken all rights outside North America for Annie Leibovitz: Life Through A Lens, directed by the photographer's sister Barbara Leibovitz.

The documentary feature follows Annie Leibovitz's career for more than 30 years. Interviews in the film include Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tina Brown, Graydon Carter, Rosanne Cash, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Whoopi Goldberg, Mick Jagger, Yoko Ono and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The film is a co-production of American Masters/Thirteen/WNET New York, Adirondack Pictures and Ranoah Productions Inc.

The deal was brokered between Paul Hardart and Tom Hardart of Adirondack and Fortissimo' s senior VP of sales and acquisitions Winnie Lau.

'We are very honoured and proud to be working with Paul and Tom and the Adirondack team on this exceptional portrait of this iconic photographer that shows us how insightful, intimate and personal Annie Leibovitz is as reflected by her work,' Lau said.

Hardart added: 'We're thrilled and excited to be working with Fortissimo. We have long admired their team, great taste and collaborative spirit. '

Barbara Leibovitz, who also produced the project, previously worked on Salvaged Lives and Captive: POW Stories.
