The 11th Hollywood Film Festival will run in Los Angeles from Oct 17-22, culminating in the Hollywood Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
'We are very proud that we have become recognised as a pre-Oscar showcase, as well as a source for providing great networking opportunities for film-makers looking for a break,' executive director Carlos de Abreu said.
'In the last four years, a total of 54 Academy Award nominations and 12 Oscars have been given to films the festival has showcased and to the nominees and honourees of the Hollywood Awards. We are very pleased that the festival launches the push towards the awards season.'
