EXCLUSIVE: Raven Banner has picked up Canadian rights from Dark Sky Films/MPI to a trio of genre titles.
The deal covers SXSW Midnighter’s Late Phases directed by Adrian Garcia Bogliano, Starry Eyes from directors Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer and producer Travis Stevens and Conor McMahon’s Fantastic Fest premiere From The Dark (pictured).
“It’s always a real joy to be working with like-minded genre enthusiasts like Dark Sky/MPI and their filmmaking partners,” said managing partner Michael Paszt. “We’re excited to be joining forces with them to bring these unique films to Canadian audiences.”
Paszt and James Fler of Raven Banner brokered the deal with MPI vice-president of sales Nicola Goelzhaeuser.
