Ryan Kampe and Sylvain Tron's New York-based production and sales company Visit Films has sold Tony Stone's adventure Severed Ways: The Norse Discovery Of America to Madman in Australia and New Zealand.

Stone produced the account of two stranded Vikings who try to return home from North America after a bout of marauding in 1007 AD.

'We are very excited to be able to partner with Madman on this release as they understand the film and know that it is the perfect film for its target audience - young men and fans of heavy metal', Kampe and Tron said.

The Visit Films partners brokered the deal with Madman's Nick Batzias, and have reported strong interest from other buyers.

Visit is close to announcing UK and Australian deals on Joe Swanberg's drama Hannah Takes The Stairs, and is also selling Stefan Schaefer and Diane Crespo's romantic comedy Arranged and Steve Barron's drama Choking Man.
