Anders Kloster has been appointed managing director of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (TCFHE) UK.

Kloster was most recently managing director for Leapfrog Toys-Europe. Prior to joining Leapfrog, he was managing director of LEGO Toys UK and vice president of sales, LEGO Northern Europe.

At Fox, he will be responsible for creating and executing business plans targeted to maintaining category leadership and growth.

TCFHE UK recently won the Distributor of the Year honours at the Home Entertainment Week Awards and recognition by the British Video Association (and its customers) as the top studio for retail and rental distribution -- two years in a row. Recent hits include The Simpsons Movie, Night at the Museum, Borat, The Queen, Little Miss Sunshine, The Last King of Scotland, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown and Die Hard 4.0.

The executive announcement was made by Steven Leighton, senior vice president, Northern Europe, TCFHE to whom Kloster will report.

Kloster said: 'I am delighted to be joining Fox at such an exciting time. With a stellar product line-up and an exceptionally strong team in place, it is clear why customers consistently rank the studio as number one. I look forward to building on the team's success and meeting new challenges of the marketplace.'
