The executive previously served as the svp role and will continue to report to motion picture group president Jonathan Glickman.
Rosenberg is currently overseeing production on José Padilha’s [pictured] Robocop, scheduled to open in February 2014, as well as Hercules starring Dwayne Johnson and The Magnificent Seven with Tom Cruise.
“Adam has been a stalwart colleague in our production group for many years now,” said Glickman. “His instincts and enthusiasm make him a superb executive and we are thrilled to have him continue in an expanded role overseeing films for the worldwide audience.”
Prior to joining MGM in 2011, Rosenberg spent six years at Spyglass Entertainment. He began his career at Scott Rudin Productions.
