A new specialised media law firm, Aslan Charles Kousetta, has launched in London.

The firm's founders are Susan Aslan, Sue Charles and Hakan Kousetta.

The boutique firm, which will handle contentious and non-contentious matters for clients,will work across film, TV, advertising, publishing and new media. They will also advise on other areas including intellectual property, defamation, reputation management, privacy and confidence.

Aslan and Charles have worked together for more than 20 years and count Channel 4 and Working Title Films among their clients.

Hakan Kousetta, who previously worked with the team behind Anton Corbijn's hit Control and is also a TV animation expert, will be the firm's film and television production and finance specialist.

Aslan Charles Kousetta will employtwo seasonedassistants: Nick Miller on production matters, and Laura Baglow on content issues.

The offices will be based in Wells Street, London.
