StudioCanal.In early sales, eOne has acquired the picture for Canada, Benelux and Australia. It has also gone toScandinavia (Svensk) and Russia (Daro/Cascade).
“It’s Working Title doing what it does best,” says Harold Van Leer. “We’ve also got a lot of interest from the US but we’re not expecting a deal here… we’ll show a promo at Toronto.”
Rose Byrne stars opposite Rafe Spall as a couple with serious doubts about their compatibility as they approach their first wedding anniversary. The $25m production is fully financed by StudioCanal.
StudioCanal will distribute the film in the France, Germany and the UK.
Other titles on StudioCanal’s slate include family feature Paddington Bear, which producer David Heyman presented to buyers on Thursday, and Jeremy Lovering’s psychological horror In Fear, starring Alice Englert and produced by Big Talk and Film 4.
