Wolfe Releasing has acquired US rights to gay titles The Baby Formula and Half-Life and plans a simultaneous DVD release with VOD campaign through Warner Brothers Digital Distribution.

Alison Reid’s Canadian feature The Baby Formula won the Toronto Inside Out Lesbian And Gay Film And Video Festival audience award in 2008 and follows two women who want to have a baby.

Jennifer Phang’s Half-Life takes place in a near-future Northern Californian suburb threatened by looming global catastrophe and centres on the experiences of one distracted and confused family.

Wolfe negotiated the deal for Half-Life with Visit Films acting on behalf of the film-makers.
