Fox will distribute eOne titles in the UK and Benelux, while the two companies will also partner on a new venture in Canada.
Entertainment One (eOne) and 20th Century Fox have signed a long-term home entertainment deal that adds territories including the UK and Benelux to its existing partnership.
With the current deal already comprising Australia and Spain, Fox will now manage sales and distribution on DVD and Blu-ray titles for eOne in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The two companies declined to comment on any potential staff streamlining as a result of the deal.
The companies also revealed that they are launching a new venture in Canada that will handle their combined home entertainment businesses. Upcoming releases under the new venture include The Hateful Eight, The Peanuts Movie and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
