The Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (CTBF), the charity which supports film and television industry employees and their families in times of hardship, has appointed Grace Carley as its new head of fundraising.

Previously managing director of All Industry Marketing from 2006-2009, Carley ran her own international sales company, Stranger Than Fiction, prior to a five year stint as head of arts funding at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Most recently, she was a consultant to the Arts Council England and the British Film Institute with regard to branding and events.

“The CTBF has an amazing history, and brings many unsung benefits to worthy individuals and causes, with the generous support of the film and television communities.  I see my role now as spreading the story of the organisation and bringing it to the notice of a wider audience – increasing its relevance to potential benefactors and beneficiaries alike,” said Carley.
