The team behind last year's hit Belgian film Pauline & Paulette are to reunite for director Lieven Debrauwer's next feature project Jam (Konfituur) about the family intrigues following a couple's separation on their 50th wedding anniversary.

Dutch producer Emjay Rechsteiner of Staccato Films will again serve as co-producer for Dominique Janne's Brussels-based production house K-Line, and the two lead actresses of Pauline & Paulette, Dora Van der Groen and Ann Peetersen, will return for main parts in this Euros 3.4m project which was pitched at last weekend's Netherlands Production Platform in Utrecht.

Pauline & Paulette began its successful international career at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival where it won the Audience Award and was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics for North America. The comedy about two elderly sisters then took away five of the seven Joseph Plateau Awards at last year's International Flanders Film Festival.

The film was also nominated for the 2001 European Film Awards and was put forward as Belgium's entry for the foreign language film category at the 2002 Academy Awards.
