Sara Keene has stepped down as one of the chief executives of Premier Public Relations to take on a role as non-executive director.

She will act as a consultant to the board and will continue to run Premier's Personal Department, which handles publicity for individual celebrities including Daniel Craig, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Sam Mendes and Kenneth Branagh.

Joint chief executives Charles McDonald and Jonathan Rutter will continue in their positions, under John Reiss as chairman.

Premier is based in London and Los Angeles and works in film, TV, theatre, home entertainment, brands, special events and product placement.

Keene is well known in the international film world after founding Corbett and Keene PR in 1987 with Ginger Corbett. That company was acquired by Miracle Media Group and evolved into Premier PR. Last year, Premier acquired McDonald & Rutter.

'I have been fortunate enough to work with many of the most talented and exciting people in the film industry over the last 20 years,' Keene said. 'I want to continue to do so but I will now be able to devote more time and energy to working closely with the personal clients that we represent.'

'Sara's contribution in building Premier PR to its present status has been immeasurable' added Reiss. 'We are absolutely delighted that we shall continue to have the benefit of her advice and experience across the Company's activities whilst she now focuses on building our Personal Department.'
