This year's international Screen Writers Festival is to launch a speculative script market.

scriptMARKET offers writers the chance to send in a script for consideration by a panel of agents, producers, commissioners, developersand/or sales agents.

The panel will meeet the top 30 at the festival in the UK town of Cheltenham on July 3-6.

Entries must be no more than 120 pages. Applicants will get a comprehensive report produced by professional readers, including a 150 word synopsis and a recommendation as to whether the script should be considered for short listing.

There is a fee of £65.00 for them to enter the scriptMARKET and to help cover the SWF admin and reading costs etc, and the writer/writers must have already purchased at least a two day ticket for the festival, which is supported by Screen International.
