Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) organisers have announced
that the Sutton Place Hotel will become the centralised festival hub
starting this autumn.

Festival offices will occupy the first and second floors of the hotel,
which will also accommodate delegates at reduced rates.

The venue will encompass the sales and industry office, press office
and press conferences, the official TIFF portrait studio, a press and
industry lounge, guest relations, and programme administration.

'We are strongly committed to providing the best service possible to
all our guests, so we are delighted to have the Sutton Place Hotel,
one of our long-time partners, as the official hub for the festival,'
Toronto International Film Festival Group director of communications
Andrea Grau Clunie said.

'On top of providing reduced hotel rates for our delegates, having a
headquarters centralises all activities for filmmakers, journalists,
sales agents and buyers, providing more streamlined services and
offering an efficient, productive and a more affordable festival
experience for everyone.'

Sales and industry office services include an expanded sales location
supported by the OMDC (Ontario Media Development Corporation) at the
Sutton, fully equipped national film agency promotion desks,
promotional billboards for festival films, one-on-one meeting spots,
video viewing stations, mailbox services, and internet points.

This year's TIFF is set to take place from Sept 6-15.
