EXCLUSIVE: UK deals for Nicolas Cage and Jennifer Connelly films.

UK distributor Arrow Films continues to build on recent partnership with US sales outfit Voltage Pictures with new acquisitions Pay The Ghost, starring Nicolas Cage, and Shelter, Paul Bettany’s directorial debut starring Jennifer Connelly.

In Uli Edel-directed thriller Pay the Ghost, Cage stars as a professor frantically searching for his son who was abducted during a Halloween parade.

Connelly and Anthony Mackie star in drama Shelter, about a couple who fall in love while homeless on the streets of New York.

Both films are due to be released in late 2015, with Voltage’s Good Kill also set for release on April 10th.

Tom Stewart, acquisitions director for Arrow Films, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our very positive relationship with the Voltage team on Pay the Ghost which looks set to be Nic Cage’s most exciting project for years. Likewise, Shelter represents Connelly at the top of her game and with Paul Bettany at the helm it is a compelling proposition for distribution.”

Voltage’s Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard added: “Following a positive start to our relationship with Arrow, we are excited that they’ve come on-board two of our latest star driven features. Arrow is fast proving itself a highly strategic and able distributor that embraces the wonderfully diverse films that Voltage produces and supports.”
