Web and mobile premium content platform Babelgum and video site Metacafe have launched the Metacafe iPhone application powered by Babelgum.

The partnership aligns Babelgum’s content and mobile technology with Metacafe’s growing audience of more than 46million unique monthly viewers.

The free application features a selection of Metacafe videos for movies, sports, music, comedy, animation and is now available through the iTunes Store in the US, UK, Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

Babelgum has launched a branded channel on Metacafe, showcasing a selection of film, music, comedy, environmental and urban content.
