Movie Mogul scheme part of Life In A Day’s UK marketing campaign
Kevin Macdonald’s user-generated doc Life In A Day, produced by Scott Free London and YouTube, is getting a boost from 24 charities which have signed up to benefit from ticket sales for the film.
Participants in the Movie Mogul scheme can choose any charity to benefit from 25% of ticket sales from their online ‘Micro Mogul ticket booth’.
24 charities are currently signed up to support the initiative, including Amnesty International, Barnardo’s, Macmillan Cancer Trust, RSPCA and WaterAid.
A new website complete with facebook apps, downloadable film footage and the opportunity to design your own movie poster has been launched to assist the campaign.
Life In A Day is released in the UK on June 17.
