Ealing Studios International takes rights to Andrew Rossi documentary.

London-based Ealing Studios International has taken worldwide rights (excluding previously sold territories) on Andrew Rossi’s documentary, Page One: A Year Inside The New York Times.

The deal was negotiated by David Koh & Josh Braun of Submarine Entertainment on behalf of the director and producers along with Will Machin of Ealing Studios International.

Ealing Studios will represent the film at this year’s Berlin EFM Market and will represent unsold territories and rights. The film had previously been sold during the Sundance Film Festival by Submarine Entertainment to Magnolia Pictures & Participant Media (US), Alliance Films (Canada), Madman Entertainment (Australia & NZ), Pretty Pictures (France).

Filmmaker Andrew Rossi spent the year inside the newsroom of The New York Times as the institution faces one of the most trying times of its existence, with newspapers going bankrupt and organizations like the website WikiLeaks transforming the way information and news are exchanged.

The feature doc, which screened recently in Sundance, was written and produced by Rossi and Kate Novack. Josh Braun, David Hand, Alan Oxman and Adam Schlesinger were also producers on the film, and Daniel Stern and Dan Pine served as executive producers.
