eOne has acquired multi-territory rights on David Cronenberg’s Cannes thriller Cosmopolis.
Entertainment One has picked up US and UK rights to David Cronenberg’s Cannes competition entry Cosmopolis from Kinology.
Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche and Paul Giamatti star in the thriller about a hedge fund trader who is stalked while his fortune evaporates due to his market missteps. Cronenberg adapted from Don DeLillo’s novel.
Paulo Branco of Alfama Films and Martin Katz of Prospero Pictures produce, Grégoire Melin of Kinology co-produces.
The deal was negotiated by David Reckziegel, president, eOne Films North America and Alex Hamilton, director, eOne Films UK and Grégoire Melin for Kinology.
