EXCLUSIVE: Mance Media has acquired worldwide rights to the adult fairy tale from writer-director F C Rabbath.
Mance has set a December 12 theatrical release and will introduce the film to buyers at the AFM in November.
Scarlet’s Witch follows a lonely young girl who befriends a witch in a forest and years later turns to the sorceress for magical assistance when another girl encroaches on her relationship with a boy.
The cast includes Avery Pohl, Emily Pearse, Marcy Palmer and Julie Moss.
It is expected the cuts will begin on Friday November 7 and only impact domestic flights at this stage.
