Hammer thriller The Resident starring Hilary Swank gets March 11 release in UK.

Paramount Pictures and Icon Film Distribution will jointly release Antti Jokinen’s US-set thriller The Resident in March 2011. The UK acquired the Hammer production from Exclusive Film Distribution.

The Resident follows a young doctor, played by Swank, who finds herself in danger when her new landlord develops an unnatural obsession with her. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Christopher Lee co-star.

Jokinen’s directorial debut is produced by Cary Brokaw and Let Me In producers Simon Oakes and Guy East.
