Koch already strikes deal for German theatrical rights.

TrustNordisk will start presales at Berlin’s European Film Market for epic action adventure film Escape. Koch Media has already taken the German theatrical rights

The film is from the producers — Martin Sundland and Are Heidenstrøm from Norwegian production company Fantefilm Fiksjon — of trilogy Cold Prey, which has sold to more than 30 territories. Again, Roar Uthaug directs.

Escape is set in 1363 when the plague has torn apart a country, and lawless gangs rule.

Koch’s Moritz Peters, Director of Marketing and Acquisitions, added “We are convinced that the medieval setting as well as the action genre has high commercial potential and will attract an extensive audience. The feature is a gem in our line-up.”

Nordisk has Norwegian rights and will launch on Sept 28.
