WestEnd Films has closed “substantial” EFM presales on Ralph Fiennes period-drama The Invisible Woman for the UK (Lionsgate UK) and Australia (E1).
WestEnd unveiled the buzz title at the EFM, with Fiennes set to direct and star as Charles Dickens, alongside Felicity Jones who plays his illicit mistress, and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Shame and The Iron Lady writer Abi Morgan scripts. Producers are Gaby Tana, Stewart MacKinnon and Christian Baute.
Shoot is set for end of April.
The ascending UK sales outfit has seen strong demand for its slate, which includes Neil Jordan’s Byzantium, Albert Nobbs, Footnote and Love Bite.
Lionsgate UK had also picked up Fiennes’ debut Coriolanus, which screened in Competition at last year’s Berlinale.
